"The Philosophy of Religious Science is nothing new to the world. It is rather a synthesis of the greatest concepts that have ever come to the mind of humanity.
The laws of Moses, the love of Christ, the ethics of Buddha, the morals of Confucius and the deep spiritual realization of the Hindus all find exalted place in the philosophy of Religious Science."
Ernest Holmes, Founder
Religious Science, also known as Science of Mind, was founded in 1926. Though originally based on Christianity, this is an inclusive, non-denominational Teaching which recognizes the golden thread of truth in all science, philosophy and religion.
A system of spiritual thought more than a religion, Religious Science nutures and promotes a deeper awareness of ourselves as spiritual beings living in a spiritual universe, with a view to expanding our effectiveness and increasing the joy of our life experience. We discover that consciousness is creative—as we change our thinking we change our lives.
New Thought is a philosophical study of humankind which explores our purpose, our relationship to life, family, work, our fellow beings, the environment, and our Creator. The Teaching views the individual as inseparable from our Creator, as the wave is inseparable from the ocean. New Thought teachings reveal that our thoughts are creative and that we create not what we "want" in life, but from "what we are." Practitioners of New Thought find that the power of an uplifted consciousness can also bring healing to negative circumstances and conditions in one's personal life.
Always “open at the top” for new insights, Science of Mind contains no dogma, and quarrels with any religion, recognizing that all paths lead home to the One.
"The more completely we become conscious of the Divine union, the more power we have over our own glorious existance!"
